Want to see the latest offering from John Travolta and Denzel Washington before the release date? Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers Ambassador Entrant Sarah Nolan is giving you the chance to attend a preview screening of The Taking of Pelham 123.Miss Nolan has organised the preview in conjunction with Channel Seven Toowoomba and Birch Carroll and Coyle, all funds raised will benefit The Pyjama Foundation and Toowoomba Hospital’s Young People at Risk program.

Tickets for the preview screening of The Taking Of Pelham 123 are available at Toowoomba Kmart Plaza centre management office Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm. The preview screening will take place at Birch Carroll and Coyle cinemas Grand Central Wednesday August 26th at 6.30pm.

Tony Scott directs this remake of the original Palomar Production/Walter Matthau-starring thriller from 1974. This Columbia Pictures production pits Denzel Washington and John Turtorro against a group of hijackers, led by John Travolta, who take over a subway train in order to rake in a hefty ransom. David Koepp (War of the Worlds) adapted the book by author John Godey.

Miss Nolan will be selling tickets to the preview at Toowoomba Kmart Plaza Centre Management office Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm, until stocks last, so get in quick.

This event has been sponsored by Channel Seven Toowoomba and Birch Carroll and Coyle.

The Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers is held annually during the month of September. The Ambassador Program is just one aspect of this large event. Funds raised in 2009 will be donated to the Pyjama Foundation and Toowoomba Hospital Foundation’s Young People at Risk program.
